Marianne Vos proved sprinting is just one of her many talents.

Marianne Vos is known in both the road and ’cross worlds for having a wicked fast sprint. Recently, however, she showed that she can sustain her power with the best of them by taking the Dutch National TT Championship. Vos road the course in a time of 33:33, besting second place by thirteen seconds. “Still hard to believe I managed to become TT champion; not as used to winning as people seem to think!” Vos tweeted after her win. Three days later, Vos gave the National Road title to her teammate, Loes Gunnewijk, as the two crossed the line side by side. Vos had held the national title for the previous two years. Vos also took the National TT title as a junior in 2005, but now can add an Elite jersey to her already impressive wall.
