19 year-old Tijmen Eising, who finished fourth in last year’s U23 World Cup series in his first season competing in that age group, has extended his contract with the Sunweb-Revor team through the end of 2014. During the previous 2008/2009 season, the Dutch rider impressively dominated the Junior World Cup series, took the European Championship and won the World Championship on home soil as well.

“With him will our future is bright,” team manager Jurgen Mettepenningen told Sport.be. “Tijmen is a [rising star] in cyclocross…This winter we expect Tijmen to develop further, now that he’s a year older and stronger.”
