Spencer Petrov had a tough start to Saturday’s U23 Men’s race but came roaring back to pass much of the field and finish 16th.

Petrov clearly had good legs, and remained upbeat despite getting caught in traffic early in his first two laps. After getting stuck in traffic, he went on to crank out the 8th, 12th, 9th, 11th, 10th, and then 12th quickest times in the remaining laps—lap times that would have him around tenth overall.
