Every once in a while, we stumble upon a photo set that really sums up cyclocross. Having just spent a few days in the Bay Area observing the scene and meeting the local racers, it was easy to see how these photos really define the style and vibe of racing on the West Coast: all fun, all business, all at the same time.

Nice photo. I had led the race from lap 2. Steve Ouzounian bridged up on lap 3. I sat up after crossing the Start line. Steve sprinted to the Finish.  I won't repeat that mistake. It left a hole.
