With the emergence of Wout van Aert along with the increased performace of his teammates last season, it is hard to beleive that Vastgoedservice-Golden Palace only made its debut in cyclocross in the beginning of 2014. According to a team press release, the team will have a joint main sponsor for the remainder of 2015: Crelan.

“Crelan is synonymous with stability and loyalty,” said team manager Geert Vanhoof at a press conference. “The profile also pursues our team. I am convinced that the next four years we can achieve great things together in cycling.”

Come January 1, 2016, Crelan will take Vastgoedservice-Golden Palace’s place, becoming the sole title sponsor of the team. Crelan has been a sponsor in cycling since 2000, first as Belgian pro-continental team on the road [started as Landbouwkrediet], in mountain biking starting in 2006 and in cyclocross starting in 2008.

Vastgoedservice-Golden Palace, meanwhile, seeks to diversify its sponsorships, and will be looking to be the title sponsor of the Belgian soccer club Sint-Truiden.
