Updated: Read our Men’s Masters 45-49 race report.

If Adam Myerson (Cycle-Smart) wanted to win his second straight Masters 45-49 National Championship, it was going to take some work. Myerson locked in a three-up battle with Paul Bonds (SPCX p/b R.K. Black) and Matt Davies (Boulder Cycle Sport) for most of Thursday’s race.

Not surprisingly, the race came down to a sprint finish. Myerson was the first rider to the pavement and dialed up his crit experience to win the sprint for his second straight Stars-and-Stripes jersey.
