We here at Cyclocross Magazine are excited to be bringing you our annual Nationals reflections and winner profiles in our upcoming Issue 12. As we have done previously, this issue will spend some time with every winner, but this year we thought we’d take it a bit further here online and extend these profiles with a pile of video interviews we’ve been holding onto and give you a chance to learn more about the Stars and Stripes winners and their moments of glory.

With that in mind, we ask you to join us as we take some off-season time to celebrate our 2010 USAC cyclocross national champions in these post-race interviews, where we get to relive the high of victory through their eyes. Every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, we’ll be unveiling a new interview or two, covering everyone from the youngest grom to the most experienced Masters racer. Missed one? Check them all out in our Nationals Interview Page.

Today we bring you Single Speed winner Adam Craig. (Rabobank-Giant). Craig took the first ever men’s sanctioned single-speed championship in true SS fashion – cut-off shorts, a skateboard helmet and a bike he’s gone on record calling ‘tits’. If you missed it in December, of want a refresher, go back and read our full coverage of this race.

Second place finisher JT Fountain talks about his race, as well:

And for your heckling pleasure, Cyclocross Magazine’s own Kenton Berg getting lapped by Craig (and then doing his best to hold his wheel):
