Portland, OR — Katheryn Curi Mattis has announced she’ll be dusting off her cleats for the women’s cyclocross race at CrossVegas on September 14th. Curi Mattis is a perennial threat in any contest she enters, but she will certainly have her work cut out for her — CrossVegas attracts some of the best cyclocross racers in the world and has become a regular highlight of the bicycle industry’s annual trade show.

Longmont, Colorado — The nation’s biggest cyclocross race, CrossVegas, has taken CLIF® BAR as its first title sponsor. The original energy bar made with organic ingredients, CLIF BAR is increasing its annual participation from supporting to title sponsor in a multi-year deal concluded recently.

As you may have read in our previous article on the USA Cycling Board Elections, there are open positions on the cyclocross committee. At Cyclocross Magazine, we recognize the importance of these positions, and because of that, we want to encourage everyone to vote in the elections. Bart Wellens, Telenet-Fidea’s cyclocross star, has officially signed to race the Rad Racing GP, promoter Jim Brown told Cyclocross Magazine on Saturday in Seattle. The Belgian cyclocross veteran has also been confirmed to be contesting StarCrossed, the second race of the Cross After Dark series, the night before.
