One of the biggest weekends of UCI Junior racing in the U.S. kicked off on Saturday at Devou Park as part of the Cincinnati Cyclocross weekend. Lane Maher came in on a roll after a big weekend at Silver Goose in Canada last weekend and again found himself battling at the front of the race at Devou.
Lane Maher (Hot Tubes Development) and teammates Sam Noel and Alex Morton (Cannondale p/b Cyclocrossworld.com) battled deep into the last lap of the race on the muddy course.
Maher got the upper hand on his rivals and took the win with a blistering last lap attack.
Morton finished second and his fellow Cannondale p/b Cyclocrossworld.com rider Sam Noel finished third.
