US Cup-CX series leader Kaitie Keough (Cannondale p/b Cyclocrossworld.com) has reached podiums at Cincinnati Cyclocross for years, but she has never ascended to the top step while racing in the Ohio River Valley.
That changed on Saturday on Day 1 of the 2017 Cincinnati UCI Cyclocross weekend. Keough escaped the field early in the Women’s Elite race and deftly handled the muddy course to take home her fourth win of the US Cup-CX series.

The second-place rider in the US Cup-CX series heading into Saturday, Emma White (Cannondale p/b Cyclocrossworld.com), finished fourth, which means Keough has further cemented her series lead. Carolina Mani (Van Dessel / Atom Composites) took second and Ellen Noble (Aspire Racing) third.
