Updated: Read our Junior Men 17-18 race report.

Even-numbered years seem to be Ben Gomez Villafañe preferred time to race Nationals. After a disappointing 2015 Nationals in Austin, a 15-16 win in 2016 in Asheville, and more disappointment in 2017 in Hartford, Gomez Villafañe was due at the 2018 Cyclocross National Championships in Reno.

The Santa Cruz-based racer kept the pattern alive, with an impressive display of power and skill on the Reno course.
