Yesterday, cyclocrosser Geoff Kabush took the win at the Whiskey 50 Off-Road race in Prescott, Arizona, a week after taking the win in the short track race and a second in the cross country race at Sea Otter in California. In the women’s field, Lesley Paterson, the Xterra World Champion took the win, followed by ’crosser Katerina Nash, who laughed about how the 50 miler was much harder since she’s used to shorter cyclocross and cross country races. Other cyclocrossers included Georgia Gould, who took fifth place, and in the men’s race, Spencer Paxson, who came in for sixth followed by Todd Wells, who spent the race with Kabush at the front until double flatting in the final 10 kilometers of the race.
