Cyclocross has a long history at San Mateo’s Coyote Point Park.

The venue has held UCI racing, attracted top international talent like Thomas Frischknecht and hosted epic battles among domestic cyclocross stars including Rachel Lloyd, Gina Hall and Carmen D’Aluisio on the women’s side and Todd Wells, Dale Knapp and Jackson Stewart on the men’s side.

In conjunction with the East Coast Charm City Cross race and the Coyote Valley Cross races in NorCal, Team Roaring Mouse is pulling out the stops for Cross Infestation—a return to magnificent Coyote Point Park on Saturday, November 2nd.

NorCal and Bay Area cross racers will appreciate the chance to kick it again at this impressive venue.

The Coyote Point venue has a long history of supporting ’cross, primarily as the star event of the Bay Area Super Prestige series.  Many a ’cross racer has fond memories of the thrill of victory and the agony of, well, the agony of ’cross while racing this site.

The Infestation course will challenge riders with tight forest sections, fast grass and pavement, a decent amount of climbing, UCI-height barriers and the beach. It’s not to be missed.

And the San Francisco Bay-side setting, complete with windsurfers and airliners on final approach to SFO, makes for a fantastic spectator-friendly experience with lots of spots for cheering your favorite crosser or for some quality heckling.

The event is USA Cycling-sanctioned, helping NorCal crossers looking to gain that points edge for Nationals just up the coast in Tacoma, Washington State in December.

Cross Infestation is also a proud participant in the 2019 NCNCA Women’s Series.

Racing starts at 8 am with the Cat 5 Men’s Race, with other category races continuing throughout the day. The day’s events include Junior Girls and Boys 10-12 and 12-14 divisions as well as U19 Men.
