Helen Wyman of Kona Factory Racing, European Cyclocross Champion and seven time cyclocross National Champion of Great Britain, will for the second year be hosting a cyclocross camp in conjunction with The Midnight Ride of Cyclocross (Lancaster, Massachusetts). Taking place during New England’s Holy Week of Cyclocross, the camp will offer one and two-day options for the beginner looking to get into cyclocross, as well as the more seasoned competitor wanting to polish up her or his technique.

Day 1 (Tuesday, September 24th from 4:00-6:00pm) will go over the basic elements of cyclocross racing, such as starts, dismounts and remounts, barriers, run-ups, cornering and the like. Day 2 (Wednesday, September 25th from 12:00-2:00pm) will take place on The Midnight of Cyclocross race course before it is open for race-day course inspection. Topics for the second day will include how to approach race day, pre-riding the course, selecting the best lines, tire pressures and tread selection, pre-race warm ups and recovery techniques.

Both days will take place at The Fairgrounds (318 Seven Bridges Road) in Lancaster. Participants can choose to attend Day 1, Day 2, or both days. The cost is $35 for a single day (Day 1 or Day 2), or $60 for both days. Registration will be open on Wednesday, August 7th at 12:00, and can be found here. There will be a limit of 30 participants for each day.
