The Belgian cyclocross racers seem to have taken an early-season divide-and-conquer approach, taking wins at Ethias Cross Eeklo in Belgium, Day 1 of Rochester Cyclocross in the U.S. and at the first installment of the Qiansen Trophy Cyclocross races in China.

Belgium’s Joyce Vanderbeken continued that trend and made it two-for-two on her 2019 China cyclocross campaign a win at the UCI C1 Cyclocross race at the Fengfeng Station. She led an all-European podium.

Vanderbeken also won last week’s UCI C1 race at Aohan Station, matching her two-for-two performance at the 2017 Qiansen Trophy UCI cyclocross races in China.

Unlike the UCI C1 and C2 events held in the U.S. this season, the Chinese events did not have races for the UCI Junior Men.
