Wisconsin-based photographer Jeff Curtes has been quite the traveler recently, flying from Wisconsin to Iowa to Japan and then Hartford to capture great images of our favorite painful, sloppy pastime. It's a lifestyle he's used to, after making his name as a snowboarding photographer for over 20 years.

Curtes' standard luggage includes his Speedvagen bike and nice camera, and the 2017 Cyclocross National Championships was no exception. In Hartford, Curtes did his typical double, lining up with Adam Myerson in the Masters men's race 45-49 and finishing on the lead lap in 46th, and then racing around the course to capture the action.

Curtes sent in a gallery of the last three races on Sunday, with images from the U23, Elite Womens and Elite Men's races. Have a look at a few of our favorites below, with a full slideshow gallery at the bottom.
