The young Belgian Junior cyclocross star Eli Iserbyt is so popular in Belgium he has his own video channel for fans called “Iserfylm.” The 2014/2015 UCI Junior Men’s World Cup overall winner was dominant on Sunday, winning the Hoogerheide World Cup going away, and giving his fans another reason to celebrate.

American cyclocross fans also had another reason to celebrate yesterday, despite being shut out of the top ten in the Elite Men, U23 Men, and surprisingly, the Elite Women’s race in Hoogerheide. In the Junior Men’s race, newly-crowned 2015 US Cyclocross National Champion Gage Hecht continued to impress with a strong start and a podium finish.

Watch Hecht sprint strongly off the line and lead the entire field once through the first off-camber hairpin descent in the video above. See the full 2015 Hoogerheide Junior Men’s results and brief report here.

Who represents the U.S.' best chance at a medal at the 2015 Worlds in Tabor?
