Team Rapha-FOCUS announced their 2012-2013 professional cyclocross racing team roster. The expanded team now has six racers, and the team will race both international and domestic races. The new team roster adds two women racers, Gabriella “Gabby” Day and Sabrina Schweizer.

The returning team riders are reigning United States Cyclocross Champion Jeremy Powers (Massachusetts, USA), reigning United States U23 Cyclocross Champion Zach McDonald (Washington, USA), Christopher Jones (California, USA), and Julie Krasniak (Metz, France).  The team will race an international schedule beginning with the raucous, season-opening CrossVegas and continue with specific focus on the U.S. Grand Prix of Cyclocross series and UCI World Cup events.

FOCUS Bikes provides the all-carbon Mares Rapha Focus bicycle, and the bikes will be available to the public for the first time this year. A team-use-only disc brake version of the Mares Rapha Focus will be available exclusively for Rapha-FOCUS riders.

Several times this Summer, I've seen Zach McDonald training around the streets of Seattle in full Rapha team kit.

Each time I've been in my car, or I would have tried to keep up with him!
