Indianapolis, Indiana — Cyclocross is brutal, on both riders and their equipment. The constant obstacles, flying mounts down muddy hills and mad cluster of frantic competitors are just the beginning. The abuse put on equipment is intense, and dependable gear is key. Zipp has a strong commitment to developing strong, reliable cyclocross gear, and supporting the athletes that ride it.

Zipp is proud to announce its roster for the 2011-2012 Cyclocross season, which will take to the course with the proven durability of the 303CX, and the Zipp Service Course SL bars, stems and seatposts.

Team Cannondale prepared by Cyclocrossworld returns in its third season riding Zipp 303CX and second season on Zipp Service Course SL. Led by six-time National Cyclocross Champion Tim Johnson, the team has added firepower with Swiss National Champion Christian Huele and reigning US Masters Cyclocross National Champion Nicole Duke. US U23 National Champion Kaitlin Antonneau and Jamey Driscoll return to the team.

Reigning US National Cyclocross Champion, Todd Wells, of Specialized Factory Racing/Cal Giant will race Zipp 303CX for his third consecutive season along with teammates Lea Davison and Max Plaxton.

Meredith Miller and the California Giant/Specialized team, in their third season on Zipp 303 CX, add the Zipp Service Course SL line to their equipment list.

Former US National Cyclocross Champion, Ryan Trebon, joins the fray equipping his Felt machines with Zipp 303CX wheels, Zipp Service Course SL, along with SRAM componentry and Avid Shorty Ultimate brakes.

Caroline Mani, French National Cyclocross Champion, will ride Zipp 303CX, Service Course SL, SRAM componentry, and Avid Shorty Ultimate brakes. Coryn Rivera of Peanut Butter & Co. TeamTWENTY12 will do the same.

Colorado resident Amy Dombroski will equip her cyclocross race bike with Zipp 303CX as well. Richard Sachs Cyclocross Team will run Zipp Service Course SL as will Maureen Bruno Roy.

Zipp also returns as a sponsor of the USGP of Cyclocross, the country’s premier series, as well as the presenting sponsor of the Ohio Valley Cyclocross Tour (OVCX). SRAM and Zipp along with Specialized will continue to provide neutral race support for the USGP and other marquee races around the country, saving races for pros and category racers alike.
