Hannah Arensman (Brevard College) had a tough battle against Samantha Runnels (Lindenwood) for nearly half of Wednesday’s Collegiate Varsity race, but after Runnels had to pit during the third lap, Arensman got away and took home the Stars-and-Stripes. The race was Runnels’ first collegiate race after starting school at Lindenwood this semester.

Emma Swartz (Marian University) brought home a second Swartz third after her brother Caleb got the same in the Men’s Varsity race.
