Wout van Aert (Vastgoedservice-Golden Palace) has proven to be nearly unbeatable so far this cyclocross season. Sunday’s Superprestige Zonhoven was no exception, as van Aert shook Lars van der Haar (Giant Alpecin) and Tim Merlier (Vastgoedservice-Golden Palace) early to come away with an impressive solo win.

The battle for the podium came down to the wire, with Rob Peeters (Vastgoedservice-Golden Palace) beating Kevin Pauwels (Sunweb-Napoleon Games) with a little bit of argy-bargy in the sprint, closing the door on him right before the line.
