Although we had shown this video in the morning before Worlds, we realize many of you were still sleeping, and it’s a short production not to be missed.

For the last twelve years, Geoff Proctor has been organizing and growing EuroCrossCamp, bringing Junior, U23 and Women’s Development Riders from the United States to Europe to impact the level of international performance of young riders with respect to  World Cups and World Championship competitions.

This season, the program has been absorbed by the USAC and rebranded as the USAC CX Development Program, with Proctor as the Head Coach. The program goals appear to be coming to fruition: American riders made waves this winter, with Gage Hecht taking a podium at a World Cup and dictating a strong presence at the 2015 World Championships with his fellow riders.

Storyhouse Film has released a short piece on Vimeo, capturing the Development Team at training and racing in Belgium during December. It begins as the European travel days always do, traveling to the races before dawn.
