The Swiss Cyclocross Cup came to Schneisingen, Switzerland on Sunday, October 18, 2026, for the second round of the series. The C2 racing brought the Elite Women and Elite Men to the same Schneisingen course for a full day of Swiss Cup competition.
The Swiss Cyclocross Cup is the country’s national winter series, where up-and-coming Swiss riders race alongside established international elites. It continues one of the sport’s deepest national traditions: long before Belgium became cyclocross’s modern heartland, Switzerland was already a powerhouse, led by Albert Zweifel’s five world titles in the 1970s and 1980s.
The Elite Women raced first, with 16 riders on the start line, and the Elite Men followed with 33 on the start line. Full results for both races are below.
Elite Women’s Race
Lison Desprez won the Elite Women’s race in 52:27, finishing 50 seconds ahead of Rebekka Estermann, who was second in 53:17. Giorgia Pellizotti took third in 53:44, and Jacqueline Heigis was fourth in 54:37.
Victory went to Lison Desprez. The 19-year-old French rider, who joined AS Bike Racing / France Literie this summer, also won Round One at Steinmaur on October 11, so Schneisingen marks a repeat victory for the rising U23 star.
