This weekend the U.S. ProCX series will be in New York for the 2018 Rochester Cyclocross at Genesee Valley Park. Saturday’s race represents the one chance for riders to get C1 points before the two U.S. World Cups coming up later this month.
Last year’s season-opening Rochester Cyclocross produced great racing, with Ellen Noble (Trek Factory Racing) winning Day 1 and Kaitie Keough (Cannondale p/b CyclocrossWorld) taking Day 2 in the Women’s races, and Stephen Hyde (Cannondale p/b CyclocrossWorld) and Kerry Werner (Kona Maxxis Shimano) splitting the Men’s races.
Last year’s winners are all back for 2018. Noble, Keough and Hyde are all making their season debuts, and Werner is looking to continue his hot start to the season after winning both days at GO Cross.
