When Fred Wittwer (Sweet Spot Cycling) got the bell on Wednesday in Louisville, he was chasing 11 seconds behind Kevin Johnson (Egencia).
Johnson unfortunately snapped his chain early in the bell lap, allowing Wittwer to take over a lead he would not relinquish.
Glen Jones (Trek Midwest Team) took the silver and Gregg Hardwick the bronze.
