The 2019 Vittoria Series wrapped up on Sunday with Day 2 of the NBX Gran Prix of Cyclocross in Warwick, Rhode Island. Sunday’s winners were both the same as Saturday, and with their victories, those riders wrapped up their respective series overalls as well.
Rebecca Fahringer (Kona Maxxis Shimano) won her fourth Vittoria Series race of the season after doubling up at the Supercross Cup a few weekends ago. Lizzy Gunsalus (Cannondale p/b CyclocrossWorld) finished second and Ruby West (Pivot / Maxxis p/b Stan’s NoTubes) took third.
In the Elite Men’s race, young Lane Maher (Cannondale p/b CyclocrossWorld) made it a double weekend. Sam Noel (Competitive Edge Racing / UVM Cycling) took second and Benny Hops Ben Gomez-Villafane (Squid x Eliel) took third.
