Cyclocross racing after dark and Knog Blinders, what a great way to showcase the waterproof, USB rechargeable bike lights that are the industry standard for cool.  That’s the reasoning behind the Australian manufacturer as they’ve thrown their support behind CrossVegas and the Cross After Dark series of nighttime races.

“When CrossVegas approached us to support the event with our Knog Blinders we thought it was brilliant,” claims Mike Lelliott, Knog’s Chief Marketing Officer.  “We’ll be in front of the big crowd of Interbike attendees at CrossVegas and we’ll also showcase our Blinders to cross enthusiasts across the U.S. with the Cross After Dark series.”

CrossVegas race director Brook Watts described how the “Knog Lights Back Stretch” will be created “using 200 Knog Blinders we’ll bathe the backstretch in clear LED light so racers and fans will get a great images even in the darkest corners of the park.”

The Cross After Dark series comprises four nighttime races starting with the largest cross event outside of Europe, CrossVegas scheduled Wednesday, September 19, in Las Vegas.  The series continues with the Gateway Cross Cup in St. Louis MO on Wednesday September 26, Lionhearts International Cross in Cincinnati OH on Saturday, November 4, and the series finale, CXLA in Los Angeles on Saturday December 1.
