Holy Week is almost wrapping up, with one weekend left of racing at the KMC Cyclo-Cross Festival. The event was our ultimate destination for cyclocross in our top 15 list in Issue 26. Can’t be there in person to watch all the live action? Well you’re in luck. The KMC Cyclo-cross Festival is having a live broadcast, with details offered in the press release below:

PROVIDENCE, R.I.- (September 29, 2015) – The KMC Cyclo-cross Festival Presented by Maxxis has enlisted Emmy award winning talent to present a new and improved webcast for 2015. Viewers worldwide will be able to watch the fierce competition of the UCI races live from Roger Williams Park.

Building upon the successful 2014 KMC Cross Fest webcast, organizers have doubled down on production values to give viewers a high quality show.

“We have so much great talent on the field racing, we wanted to enlist the same level of talent to our webcast”  noted Marketing Communications Director Glenn Stilwell, himself a television producer for the Pac12 Network.

Given the need for a high production level, KMC Cross Fest has hired several superstar performers both in front of and behind the camera. Leading off the production is a six time Emmy award winning director, Kent Gordis. He and his production company will deliver incredible pictures and sound from one of the best cyclo-cross courses in the country, if not the world. Leading the broadcast booth commentary is industry veteran Jeff Rickard. With years of experience with ESPN and Sirius/XM Jeff brings a wealth of professional insight for both intense and casual fans alike. Next to him will be six-time US National Cyclo-cross Champion and four-time Providence Champion Tim Johnson, whose own racing experience will lend insightful analysis. Working alongside the popular videographer Thom Parsons of DirtWireTV, Andreu will tell many of the stories that make this event such an epic American ‘cross event.

The KMC Cyclo-cross Festival Presented by Maxxis will broadcast the men’s and women’s UCI Category 1 Providence International starting at 3:15pm ET Saturday, October 3. Look for the broadcast on the race homepage kmccrossfest.com.
