Kevin Pauwels (Sunweb-Revor) continued his excellent season today, winning at the incredibly hilly Ronse GVA Trofee race. In a back and forth battle that saw an early attack by Bart Aernouts (Rabobank), a huge chase group, an escape by Pauwels and Zdenek Stybar (Quickstep), a furious pursuit by Niels Albert (BKCP-Powerplus), and a sprint finish, the lanky Belgian prevailed over the powerful world champion Czech.
