Katie Clouse had an afternoon to remember in the U23 Women’s race at the 2019 Bogense World Championships. The young rider had a great start and made the first selection. Then, she later bridged up with Clara Honsinger to join the last-lap group of 10.

Clouse rode strong in the final selection and won a sprint by an inch to finish 7th in her second U23 World Championships. Just 17, Clouse still has four more years of U23 eligibility to improve on her finish at future Worlds.

We chatted with Clouse shortly after her race.
