Curtis White (Cannondale p/b CyclocrossWorld) came into the Jingle Cross World Cup on a roll after the Rochester Cyclocross weekend. White blasted away from the field on Sunday to take a solo win and then earned the top spot in the CX Heat Check Power Rankings for his efforts.

Saturday, with many of the top Euros in Iowa City, White headed to the Johnson County Fairgrounds knowing he was in for a fight. That it was hot and muggy in Iowa just made things tougher.

White rode with a big group early on and then ended up taking 15th when the hour of racing was done.
