Ellen Noble (Aspire Racing) loves racing in the mud, but the first-year Elite rider admitted she still needs some practice on finding the winning moves when conditions turn ugly.

Tacky, strategic races though? She has those dialed in.

On Sunday at Harbin Park, Noble used a perfectly-timed late attack to break away from the lead selection and grab her first win US Cup-CX win. Her third on Saturday and win on Sunday moved her into third place in the overall series standings.

After the race, Cyclocross Magazine’s Brandon Grant talked to Noble about her race. She talked about race strategy on different courses, adapting to the cold fall conditions that have finally arrived and more in this post-race interview.
