You’ve read from our exclusive, in-depth interview with Sven Nys in Issue 4 that pasta fuels the top ‘cross racers. Now you too can eat the food of champions, and by doing so, help two of America’s top young racers race on the biggest stage. Like almost every U.S. world championship team member, Luke and Nick Keough (a CXM contributor) are fund-raising to help offset the costs of their trip, and they’re hosting a pasta dinner and raffle.  Eat some pasta, and then follow the two boys at worlds with our live, online coverage. On December 23, 2008 USA Cycling announced the riders that were nominated to compete at the UCI World Cyclocross Championships in Hoogerheide, the Netherlands. Two of the riders that were selected are brothers Nick Keough for the U23 and Luke Keough for the juniors. A pasta dinner fundraiser is being held to raise money to help defray the cost of their trips on January 25, 2009. Along with the dinner there will be a raffle, with the first prize being a Stevens Superprestige Cyclocross frameset.

The dinner will be held at Holly Ridge Golf Club: 121 Country Club Drive; Sandwich, MA 02563 between 4:00 and 8:00.
