Ok, so I’m finally getting on the ball with these updates, unfortunately its taken most of the season. With the World Championships just a week away, all the usual suspects were out to get some last minute racing in at the Hoogerheide World Cup. Niels Albert and Katie Compton wanted to show the world that they’re ready for St. Wendel.

When everything was said and done, Jeff Hicks’ Team Zoom had taken over the lead with 1410 points, knocking Kat Statman’s Team Awesome back to second place with 1402 points. Last week’s leader Chris Bagg and his French Death Pimps Dressed All In White have fallen to third with 1398 points. The pack is closing in fast though, and with the Worlds next weekend it could all change quickly.

Our Hoogerheide high scorer of the week is Anne Rock’s Philly Phlyers. Remember, it’s not too late to enter to try to be the best team for a day and get a mention in next week’s article.
