At the 2016 Interbike Outdoor Demo, we got an early look at some of the new cyclocross and gravel-oriented wheels being shown at the annual Vegas convention.

Alto Cycling showed off no less than four wheelsets that looked appropriate for cyclocross, while Lightweight now has a thru axle option and rim construction technique for its ultra-high-end German-made carbon disc brake wheels that both saves thousands and improves precision but still keeps them out of reach for many of us.

Knight Composites, now a sponsor of Katie Compton and her KFC Racing program, was also showing off the carbon tubular wheels used by Compton on both rim and disc brake wheels, plus the now-available carbon tubeless gravel wheels we initially saw at Sea Otter and will be testing soon.

Roll through the new wheels in the 2016 Interbike Outdoor demo slideshow below.
