Last weekend, Europe’s best riders descended upon Tabor in the Czech Republic for the 2017 European Championships.

Tabor was the site of the 2015 World Championships and Mathieu van der Poel (Beobank-Corendon) was looking to repeat his championship there while teammate Sanne Cant (Beobank-Corendon), who finished second at Tabor in 2015, was looking to add the European Champion jersey to go alongside her World Champion and Belgian Champion jerseys.

At Sunday’s race, Cant eked out a win over Dutch challenger Lucinda Brand (Team Sunweb).
