With 2022 World Cup Waterloo over, it’s time for the second race of the Series. 2022 Fayetteville will be taking place this Sunday, October 16.

On Friday, Fayetteville is also hosting the OZ Cross as well (update: the UCI C1 won by Lander Look and Inge van der Heijden).

The Cyclocross UCI World Cup will continue its racing after Fayetteville next Sunday at Tabor.

Elite Women Start List

Once again, Marianne Vos, last year’s Waterloo champion, is still not attending the World Cup.

2022 Waterloo winner Fem van Empel will be competing against Denise Betsema, Annemarie Worst, Caroline Mani, Clara Honsinger, Lucinda Brand, and Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado for another title win.

22 out of the 36 total racers hail from North America with 15 from the United States and seven from Canada.

Elite Men Start List

With Quinten Hermans and Lars van der Haar missing from the roster, will repeat Waterloo winner, Eli Iserbyt take another title win? Hermans did not attend Waterloo as well. According to Wielerflits, Van der Haar decided to skip Fayetteville and has already headed back to the Netherlands. You can read more about it here.

Though Iserbyt’s last year’s competition may be missing, he still has fierce competitors in Vincent Baestaens, Laurens Sweeck, Michael Vanthourenhout, Michael van den Ham, and Pim Ronhaar.

There are 23 North Americans attending Fayetteville. 14 from the United States and nine from Canada.
