BALTIMORE, MD—Tobin Ortenblad (Santa Cruz / Donkey Label) extended his win streak after winning both days of the 2017 KMC Cross Fest.
The Santa Cruz rider entered the final straight alongside Jeremy Powers (Aspire) and outsprinted the four-time National Champion to take Day 1 of the 2017 Charm City CX.
The men’s racing in Baltimore did not follow the script of the Charm City women’s race, which quickly blew part. Instead, the men’s race delivered one of the more suspenseful domestic races of the season, with countless lead changes and attacks, including a five-way battle on the final lap.
