It is NOT just a bike. It is a company, it is money, and it is a corporate culture. Trek has little of the latter.

$ over panache. The new era of cycling has arrived to cross, thanks (not) America.....

What? A professional athlete switching teams for more money? Shocking!

Gotta have a new spokesman to replace Armstrong.

He is only switching to Trek because Crelan is getting a new bike sponsor starting Jan 1 2014. Since he is retiring at the end of the year, the Colnago sponsorship is ending. He will probably do a Stybar and ride his Colnago with Trek logos on it.

Hopefully Trek won't give him the LeMond treatment

interested to see what they build for him, he wont be using a standard sloping top tube TREK that's for sure.

I switched to Trek, too. I must be a trendsetter. Will he ride a Crockett?

its a tool, not a jewel...who cares what bike he rides? But definitely good for 'cross in the states.

Not a fan of Trek but I like that he's riding an American bike. More cross visibility in the states.
