It’s a Girl! Georgia Gould Welcomes Baby Quinn

This past January at U.S. Cyclocross Nationals in Hartford, we were bummed to miss seeing Georgia Gould racing, but we were lucky enough to hear her turn in yeoman’s work announcing races all week.

Her absence from racing was for a good cause: she was an expecting mother-to-be. Two weeks ago, Gould and her husband Dusty welcomed their new baby girl Quinn (cyclocross racing age 1).

The staff at Cyclocross Magazine is stoked for Georgia and her growing family, and we are excited to see Georgia around the cyclocross scene in the future, whether it be as a racer, announcer, coach or proud Junior mother.

It’s a Boy! Jeremy and Emily Add Finn to Team Powers

Jeremy Powers has had a relatively quiet off-season, save the occasional donning of a red nose for charity. Two weeks ago in Rumors & Rumblings, we learned why he has been taking a low-key approach to the 2017 off-season:

On Wednesday, Jeremy and his wife Emily welcomed baby Finn to this world as the newest member of the Powers family. Cyclocross Magazine would like to congratulate Emily and Jeremy and wish them all the best on this new journey they are about to embark on.

Congrats to Jeremy, Georgia, Emily and Dusty and all the new moms and dads in the cyclocross community. By our math, we can expect to see Quinn and Finn racing ’cross in 2025, so as we like to say, stay tuned…
