On Friday, riders had the option of doing their 2019 Bogense Worlds course inspection in the morning or afternoon, although at least for the Americans, the governing body dictated when each rider would pre-ride.

A good number of younger riders who will be racing in the morning on Saturday and Sunday were out in the morning, but there were a number of Elites as well.

Temperatures were relatively warm at the start of Friday morning's course inspection period, but they seemed to cool off a bit as the morning progressed. Conditions on the ground were still frozen and fast.

You can read all about what to expect in the photo course preview I put together on Thursday.
