Located in Utah, the Ogden CX Park is a brand new cyclocross course that was remodeled into a park from being a landfill only years ago. The park’s opening, partnered by TRP, kicks off with a race that is set to draw some of the big names in cyclocross on Sunday after a week filled with racing, including CrossVegas on Wednesday and CrossReno on Saturday.
Elite riders will race for a share of a $10,000 prize purse with equal payout for men and women. Already the confirmed riders include Jamey Driscoll and Jonathan Page, with the potential for a few surprises. Amateur racers will also compete for great prizes from local bicycle companies and bike shops.
