Despite being set back by a delayed schedule, Turner Ramsay not only took away with the Juniors 15-16 category at the 2015 Cyclocross Nationals, but worked her way through two other fields en route to her win. She rode the mud with the handling skills of a veteran rider, and after a shortened race, was given the bell and then pulled for the win as she recalled in Cyclocross Magazine's interview with her soon after.

Ramsay paired the Red 22 Shifting system with the CX1 and Wolf Tooth drivetrain. Although she wasn’t the only nationals winner to use these shifters with a singlering setup, she is one of the few who didn’t gut her left shifter. She might appreciate the versatility come gravel season if she chooses to put a front derailleur back on her bike. © Cyclocross Magazine
