The holiday season is here and flying by quickly. For some, it’s time (or perhaps overdue) to start thinking about gifts for the cyclist in your life. Don't stress though. We're continuing our 2017 gift ideas to help make sure it is a Merry Crossmas for one and all.

For most cyclists, the holidays are a time to feel like kids again as Santa delivers bike-related goodies. However, for cyclists with families, giving gifts to their children that will help foster a life-long love of riding bikes is infinitely more rewarding.

For today's gift guide, we have some children's bikes and accessories that we, and young recruits, have looked at recently. Our list includes:

  • Islabikes Beinn 20
  • Prevelo Zulu Three and Alpha Three
  • Frog Bikes Hybrid
  • Aerotech Designs clothing
  • Islabikes jersey and shorts
  • Tail Wags helmet covers

Learn more about each item and why they might be the perfect fit for your little ripper using the slider below.

Of course, it needs to be said, Cyclocross Magazine receives no compensation from companies for inclusion in our Holiday Gift Guides. We only consider products we’ve had experience with. No advertorial here.

Why is it a good gift?

Kids deserve to be comfortable while riding too, and if they are, there’s a better chance they’ll want to join you at races and weekend rides. Aerotech Designs offers a selection of items designed specifically for little ones.

Aerotech offers fun matching jerseys and shorts, including this bright green Din-O-Mite dinosaur-themed model. What kid doesn’t like dinosaurs?

The shorts offer a lightweight, quick-drying chamois, while the jersey brings three full pockets and flat zipper. The jersey comes in Small through X-Large and the shorts are sized Small (up to 19-in. waist) to X-Large (25-in. waist).

The company also has four different kids’ gloves, including a $14.95 fingerless padded leather glove that might have your kid surpassing you in style and retro look.

Who is it a good gift for?

Does your child love bikes and dinosaurs? If so, it is tough to go wrong with the Din-O-Mite jersey.

Kids can be finicky, so making sure your child feels comfortable in their clothing is important. Aerotech’s products can help young cyclists feel a little pro and look cool while learning to love the sport.

Your recipient’s possible reaction?

“Dinosaurs! Roarrrr!”

Price: Din-O-Mite jersey: $35; Din-O-Mite shorts: $35; Gloves: $15
