GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA – The Florida Cyclocross Series (FLCX) is proud to announce the official 13 race schedule for the upcoming 2012/13 season and the creation of a new series website focused on keeping participants, fans and sponsors up-to-date on the happenings of the growing sport of cyclocross in the Sunshine State. This season promises to be the best FLCX yet, as the series visits all the corners of the state for seven weekends of racing.

The 2012/13 FLCX season opens with Tropical Cyclocross in Miami on November 3rd and 4th. This is the first year that the Miami race will feature two days of racing at two distinct venues. After a short one-week break, the series heads far north to Tallahassee on the 17th and 18th for two days of racing a new venue that promises to feature the hilly terrain that has made Tallahassee a favorite for racers around the state. The month of November closes with a full weekend of racing in the Tampa Bay area on the 24th and 25th with the all-new Tampa Riverfront CX and the ever-popular Tampa CX Classic on Picnic Island just outside of downtown Tampa.

December continues with the Southeast Singlespeed Cyclocross Championships, which is the highlight of the 3rd Annual Swamp Cross weekend in Gainesville on the 15th and 16th.

After a short break for the holiday season, the 2012/13 FLCX Series closes out with the biggest races of the year on January 5th and 6th in Clermont and Winter Garden.
