It’s been a few years since Cody Kaiser wowed the crowd by riding the Belgian stairs at Valmont Park in Boulder, so there is no better time than now to get an update on the impressive gravity-defying feat.
Ellen Noble obliged by hopping up a set of stairs at her team’s training camp in New Mexico this week. Noble’s accomplishment is a testament to sticking with it (her Instagram post mentions a few “OTB” moments) and her top-level bike handling skills.

It took a couple of days and several O.T.B moments (see my story😜) but I finally made it up these steps and man did I feel like Rocky at the top! 💪🏼😄 This wasn't my fastest/smoothest run up them, but I hope you can see why I chose to post this video over the better attempts 💛 #corgiwatts #bunnyhopthepatriarchy #bunnyhopthewholedamnstairset #womeninsport #girlswhoride #pushinglimits #stupidhumantricks
With the course at Reno Nationals slated to have a set of Belgian-style stairs, Noble may get the opportunity to showcase the latest gravity-defying skill in her arsenal. Make sure to tune in to the Women’s race at 1:15 p.m. MST on Sunday to see Noble get air and compete against the Elite Women’s field for the Stars-and-Stripes jersey in Reno.
