The 2022 Dutch Cyclocross National Championships took place over the weekend in Rucphen, Netherlands, the same venue as the recent (and thrilling) World Cup. 51 Dutch racers attended the race.

Elite Women
The Elite Women delivered the fireworks and mishaps in Rucphen.
Marianne Vos took the title with a near-flawless performance. Lucinda Brand had a blistering first lap, with Vos in tow, but soon the race featured a large pack of contenders including Denise Betsema, Fem van Empel, Annemarie Worst and Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado.
While Brand, Betsema and Vos traded turns at the front, it was Vos who benefited most while at the front.
With Vos in the lead, the rest got stuck in a bobble-induced traffic jam, and Vos was gone.

Lucinda Brand came in second place after holding off a hard-chasing Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado.

The U23 women were scored separately but run at the same time.
Fem van Empel was victorious and factored in the Elite race as well.
