On Saturday of 2016 Trek CXC Cup UCI cyclocross weekend, the Europeans cyclocross racers made their presence felt at the Trek campus in Waterloo, Wisconsin.

France’s self-described “former pro cyclist” Steve Chainel (Cross Team by G4) outsprinted the Telenet-Fidea team to the line, frustrating Jim Aernouts, Toon Aerts and Corne Van Kessel. Quinten Hermans and Daan Soete brought home an impressive showing for the Belgian team, hoarding five of the top six spots, but coming up short of the win.
