Dirty Deeds race series flyer

Two Dirty Deeds down, one more to go.

Round two of the Dirty Deeds Australian Cyclocross series went off with a bang, a cheer and perhaps a few shrimps on the barbies. A full series wrap-up will come after the final event, but in the meantime, check out the helmet cam video below, as well as this racer’s attempt to win five bucks by being the first to bunnyhop a barrier. “The five dollars eventually went to some big bloke wearing a Camelbak, hushing up hipsters everywhere,” posts promoter Brenden on the Dirty Deeds Blog, where a full race report, plus pictures, can be found.

“The next (and final) race is back at Brunswick Velodrome on the 29th of August, where we have a new course in the works to finish the series off in style,” said promoter Nik Cotterell. “A LOT of prizes to give out to racers and a free BBQ for racers and volunteers to thank them for humoring us and supporting our little series of racers.”

In an effort to attract more female racers, promoters will be offering a ladies-only skills clinic this Saturday, “away from prying men’s eyes,” as well as prizes to all podium placements.
