Round 2 of the 2018 Qiansen Trophy in China took place on Thursday in FengFeng.

Conditions were hot, with temperatures nearing 90 degrees, and the course in FengFeng was fast and dusty. In past years, both Qiansen Cup races have had a C1 designation, but this year, the second stop of the series was a non-UCI race.

Even though Round 2 was at a new venue, the top lines of the two races were similar to the first.

In the Women’s race, Aida Nunño Palacio (Garaje Paco) doubled up on her China trip with a second win. Sammi Runnels (Squid Squad) moved up a spot to second, and Joyce Vanderbeken (Bike Advice) took third.

Nicholas Samparisi (KTM Selle SMP Alchemist) took second for the second time, his brother Lorenzo Samparisi (KTM Selle SMP Alchemist) finished third.
